Get acquainted with Sherbrooke
Located at the confluence of the Magog and Saint-François rivers in the Heart of the Eastern Townships is Sherbrooke. The guided city tour will provide a great overview of the city, a nice way to get your bearings and put your surroundings into context. A fantastic feature of Sherbrooke is the downtown murals, 18 immense frescoes that pay homage to the rich heritage of the urban landscape of the city’s old neighborhoods.
Craft Beer Tour & Tasting at Siboire
Located in the heart of downtown Sherbrooke in a heritage building that once housed a train station is Siboire. Enjoy a visit to the Siboire microbrewery where you’ll learn about their history, learn about beer-making, and get a chance to taste a few new unique flavours. Their food menu is also worthy of mention. They do have a variety of dishes, but their fish and chips truly deserve to be famous!

Sherbrooke History Museum
The Sherbrooke History Museum (Mhist) invites visitors to explore the rich history of Sherbrooke and the Eastern Townships. Understanding the contribution of the cultural communities for more than 200 years provides greater appreciation for their legacy. The permanent exhibition, Memories of Sherbrooke, provides the history of Sherbrooke in a different way through the testimonies of those who dreamed, chose, lived and built it.“ The Mhist also offers a schedule of special exhibitions, and from November to January, the holiday exhibition, Stories of Christmas, “invites you to discover a dozen traditions that shape our holiday season and to immerse yourself in the famous magic of Christmas.”
The Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre Invites You to tea.
Your tea is served! Enjoy a traditional British tea featuring tea, scones, pastries, cucumber sandwiches, jam, Devonshire cream and much more. Housed in a beautiful 19th Century Victorian home, amazing Christmas decorations made from recycled materials are showcased.
Moment Factory: Étincelles
New! The Moment Factory is bringing a special Christmas presentation to Jacques Cartier Park. With the Étincelles gang, visitors join the quest to illuminate Sherbrooke's night sky, and will find themselves immersed in the magic of light!

Day 2: Tours of Sherbrooke
After breakfast, be prepared with comfortable shoes or boots for walking. A Sherbrooke city tour will provide a good introduction and overview of this unique city, and will include a fun Elf Hunt! Then, explore the downtown to see the murals. All that exploring is likely to work up a hunger and a thirst, and our visit to Siboire for a craft brewery tour, tasting, and lunch, will both! Late afternoon, we will embark on the Scintillating Trail Light Tour to see Christmas lights, and this tour conveniently concludes at our destination for dinner.

Day 3: Museums & Markets
Enjoy the personalized full breakfast at the hotel, then head out to explore Sherbrooke’s museums, slowing down for a traditional Christmas tea for lunch. The afternoon will be filled with shopping at the Sherbrooke Christmas Market, and then experience a very special Christmas presentation by the Moment Factory at Jacques Cartier Park. After a busy day, the relaxing dinner will be appreciated.

Day 4: Ottawa Christmas Markets
Today, after breakfast, the tour departs for Ottawa. This is another day for shopping at unique markets, starting with The Ottawa Originals Christmas Craft Show, and then the Byward Market for the Ottawa Outdoor Christmas Market. There will be time to freshen up back at the hotel before dinner.

Day 5: Ottawa City Tour & Homeward
After breakfast, be sure to have comfortable footwear on, since we’ll explore this beautiful city one more time. It’s a good thing it’s a morning tour, since with this “Haunted Walk” you’ll see Ottawa in a whole new light! The tour does have a sweet ending at the Byward Market with a beaver tail. Gananoque will be our next stop for a farewell lunch. Then it’s onward and homeward, with some unique gifts, and memories of fun holiday experiences with new friends.
